The end of Les Mis marks also the end of the 08/09 season with SYTG PA. What a fantastic year this was - starting with the Narnia Walk, moving onto the On Broadway concert and radio broadcast and summer spot, leading to Once on This Island, one of my favourite shows and ending in the best SYTG PA of all time - Les Mis.
It is disappointing that we don't have more support from parents as the group has never been more popular and yet less supported. If people are not prepared to help the group it wont exist - and that would be a shame!
I would like to thank everyone who (in any way) have contributed to this season - your work is greatly appreciated. There have been so many memories that will follow me and a lot of other people for a long time to come.
For those who have left the group this year - good luck and best wishes, and to all new members - a big welcome.
As the second year as SYTG PA chairman I look forward to an exiting but challenging year ahead. I will, as ever do my best for the group.
